How to download Youtube videos onto your LG Dare

MPEG streamclip is the key factor here, just google to find it (free). Just follow the video instruction, but here's a basic step guide.
1. Copy the video URL into the "open URL" option in the MPEG streamclip program.
2. Select "Convert as MPEG4"
3. Select the following options in the big menu that pops up:
a) Compression - Apple Mpeg 4 Compressor
b) (clicking on the itunes button beside) select 3gp option on the bottom
4. Select the quality to 60%
5. Type in 15 in the FPS box
6. Select 44.1Khz for audio
7. Change the fram size to 320x240
8. Make sure all the other stuff is unchecked

Use the same settings even if your converting a 16:9 video, otherwise the video might not play or you'll get a black screen instead of video on your phone.
Remember, you can play around with all these settings, but these are the settings that I find best for me, give it a shot and thanks for watching.

lol it wasnt a personal comment..i know more then a few people with the dare and you can view youtube just fine on it without doin all of that. LOL i just thought it was an awfully long process to do all that and then you go the extra bit to to talk shit behind a pc like so many others. especially when its the INTERNET NOTHING PERSONAL ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU DONT EVEN KNOW THE PERSON LOL

I didn't take it personally, but I felt as though I should have responded to such a comment. I can view videos on youtube through my dare's browser as well. But the quality is better when I download it, and I can watch it without a signal. You don't have to know the person, just write back a message : P

i downloaded it and put the url in and after it tryed to load it said file couldnt be opened. Why? i need help

whenever i did this once i clicked to export to MPEG-4 it went to like a save to and the options didnt come up like on yours

mine come up with this thing that says you are about to convert several movie why does mine say and yours does not
