ya you can get a lot of online achievements by playing bots probably like 70% of them

just start a local match

there will automatically be bots!

Some people say GoW2 actually causes it faster than other games. Since GoW2 has such good graphics and stuff, it pushes the 360 to a new limit. :P

Kinda. You can't get xp from them, since it's a private match. You can however get All Around The World Again achievement. May be a couple more just can't think of them atm.
