Manowar - Battle Hymn (Live in Leeds,UK 1984)

This is one of the very first Manowar gigs at English ground.The quality is quiet bad but i think this will be the last you are going to mention :)
I had many doubts if i should upload any track taken from this live,because i believe that such live shows are holy for someones (including me).I finally came up to the decision to upload Battle Hymn because i believe that all people should see and learn some things.See that nothing really changed to the band all these years.This band was meant to be the best heavy metal band in this world and it still is.The gods of metal chose the path for this band and the band just followed this path.
Secondly,with this video,i would like to give an answer to all those who are still claim that heavy metal was popular back on the 80s.See Manowar playing live in front of 50 people.True Heavy metal was never popular and this video is their fucking answer.Go to hell all of you,whimps,posers,and all of you who use the holy name of heavy metal for your shitty music (poser,aor,glam,sleaze etc).

manowars 1st uk gig st albans city hall 3,3,84? leeds was never part of original uk tour and replaced swansea (which was cancelled) 11,3,84 thats why only '50' turned up!coz no 1 knew about it!

@heavymetal1983 i went to 2 of the gigs on 1st uk tour, still have original tour poster(leeds not on the poster) swansea cancellation coz council said they were 2 loud? any1 verify this?

Each day i watch this video man, thx for the upload. Battle hymn is the most epic song heavy metal ppl will listen to. No matter how many years pass. That's the difference between Heavy Metal and Justin & Co.

My mate said he saw Manowar play Cross Keys College (near Newport S Wales) in the 80's. Talked about their furry boots (he was a Kiss/WASP fan) and only later in the 90's a Manowar convert. I will be seeing them in Cardiff tonight 6th Nov 2011. Whoo hoo! Hail and Kill!
