yes, i remember seeing this columbia long playing album among the records my dad kept. i stayed away from it i guess from the forboding, austere look of lecuona's photograph on the front cover. it was only later that, after learning the malaguena on the piano, it struck me to pull it out and listen. it gave me goosebumps to hear the rendition of this music by the composer himself! noches azul is a beautiful piece that i learned much later. siempre mi corazon is the most romantic, i think.

Maraming Salamat. Thank You for sharing this. Reminds me of Lorenzo. A neighbor in the Philippines long time ago. Always hear him play the piano especially in the morning. And Noche Azul is one of his favorite piece.
