Jan Hus is a 1954 Czech film. It is the first part of the "Hussite Revolutionary Triology", one of the most famous works of the czech director Otakar Vávra, completed with Jan Žižka (1955) and Proti všem (Against All, 1957).
6 July is a public holiday in the Czech republic, commemorating the execution of Jan Hus.
