geez... what happend is the icelandic polititions, messed up, noones perfect, the f**ked up, and the country got messed up.
the british, the americans, any other super power had a chance to save iceland, noone loaned iceland any money, and it went bankrupt. the only ppl who agreed to loan us icelanders money were the russions, and that deal neaver went throw, and alot of the world was all oh no, dont go to russia, there bad....

1. we had a few rotten apples. every society has those. a few rogue elements can't be blamed for all.
2. we had military bases in iceland to help deter soviet aggressions. u owe us that one. without our mighty military, you would be speaking russian by now.
3. we invented the internet which iceland and the rest of the world are using today. the internet came from our university research and development.
admit it, everyone wants to educated in the U.S. because we are the best.
