  • Is it the camera angle, or why does it look like its landing at 250 kts? Hot day + weight? any1?

  • I hope the enthusiasts coming up get to see these images of the 707. It along with the DC-8 and DeHavilland Comet literally changed the way the trajectory of the traveling public. Seeing this footage is the same view thousands saw when travel was safe, friendly; a special affair. Today it's world of loud self important braggadocios on phones in flip flops resting their bare feet on the bulkheads. No respect for the crew, aircraft, or an understanding of what a joy flying should be. Not all pax

  • WOW!

  • Did it land yet?

  • Wow what a catch. I haven't flown on one of those since I was a child. A great piece of aviation history you filmed and posted and I thankyou so very much.

  • The Revers! Omg.. Amazing!

  • @BucketOfFudge I dont think thats what seaboo meant, he was just saying it doesn't matter if it's an American airline or not.

  • The engine that failed to disengage its reverse thrusters was an error with the system. Planes like this has had an extensive history of errors.

  • Because of the older modeled engines, they have less power which means they need mor power (speed) to land safely otherwise the plane will most likely drop or stall. Nice landing by the way. :)

  • as a 707 ex crew ,...great vid,....no2 reverser stuck open by the way.....
