German Shepherd & Border Collie Play in Snow

A short video of my Border Collie, Tonks and black German Shepherd Dog, Sirius playing in the snow. They really start playing after about a minute into the video. State College had more than a foot of snow, and the puppies begged to go out most of the day. I normally do not advocate clothes for dogs, but Tonks doesn't do well in the snow so she wore a light "I bark for Penn State" shirt so she can stay out longer. Since she didn't have a problem this time, I ditched the shirt after a few minutes. This video was my first attempt at filming with a new camera.

Beautiful German shepherd! Is the shepherd a purebred?

@hardrivefreak A trainer in the area who breeds GSDs imported from Germany thought so, but he was adopted so there is no way to know for sure. If he isn't a mix, he has all of their recessive traits, e.g. mostly black, long coat.

I'm getting a German Shepherd/Border Collie mix and I can't wait to finally have him ^3^ he is black with 4 white paws and a white chin lol looks like teeth :3 he is only 3 weeks old right now. he is soooo cute! your doggies are very cute by the way ^w^

@SumikoMikazuki She was rescued from a hoarding situation were she was starved and abused. The vet she goes to (who has BCs) said she could have had one parent that was a BC mix, or she could have had growth complications due to her life before I found her but still be a pure bred BC. I don't care either way, she's a sweet pup and though it was hard, she's overcome a lot in her short little life.
