My new Panasonic Plasma sadly has a bit of a flickering problem. In this video I have filmed a web page (skysports.com) in slow motion on both my 75hz Samsung LCD monitor (using PC) and the aforementioned 100hz Panasonic plasma (using PS3). I know they are different technologies but this will highlight why the Pano gives me a raging headache after watching it for 5 mins....
I know this is far from the most accurate way of showing this but thought I'd post it anyway!

I have just bought this model and I am getting headaches and eye-strain, though I found it difficult to quantify the problem. My girlfriend calls it a wobble, I call it a flicker, but motion makes me feel ill watching this TV. It is going back. It must be faulty or the reviews (What HIFI etc.) are just wrong.

The Panasonic has got a definite serious fault and needs repairing or replacing, it is not down to it being a poor plasma display.

I've been following the AV forums thread for weeks now, and have seen posts complaining about flicker. I was just about to get this set - then this.
The term "flicker" suggests to me an obvious strobbing effect like the flickering of a candle. From my own experience with plasma I have seen a *slight* shimmer in SOME white areas, but not anything I'd consider a flicker, and not something to get my money back.
This looks like a fault, I wonder if this is what the others on the forum are seeing?
