Wurlitzer C playing Alleghany Sweetheart Restored by Roberts Musical Restorations

This is a Wurlitzer style C with a bell unit added. We have just completed a total restoration and this beautiful Orchestrion is now for sale. This Orchestion plays 65 note piano, 38 Violin pipes , 38 Flute pipes Double mouthed , Bass & snare drum, triangle and a 14 note bell unit. As you can see from the pictures its now in excellent shape. Museum quality !! Its all original with exception to the bottom stained glass panel that we installed. Also installed a one button remote control that utilizes the solenoids in the coin box. Museums love this feature. As a crowd forms they just push the remote button and it plays away.

Those machines are so intricate and amazing! Holy crap, how long does it take to repair a piano like this?

We restore one instrument at a time to keep focused on the quality that is expected of us. It normally takes 3 months for us to restore a Wurlitzer Orchestrion. In this case it took 4. With allot of multitasking!
