Black woman here. I ADORE Billy Joel and Elton John, for that matter. I'm pretty sure they were both influenced by artists who happen to be black like Ray Charles. Should I give you my whole playlist? Lots of artists of all races and backgrounds on it. Music is the universal language that bridges across human limits, goes beyond silly prejudices, and reaches our souls. Deal with it.
