ECHO has now deployed a team of 15 people to the stricken area (humanitarian experts and support staff). They are working round the clock to help ensure EU-funded support gets to people who are in desperate need. They report that delivery of humanitarian aid is scaling up rapidly.

I'm sure it was well spent! I saw the UN delegation lapping it up in a 5 star hotel over there.
Those in Haiti have maged to get plenty of what they don't need and nothing they actually need.
I can;t but be cynical when it comes to aid workers - Doctors make sense, however there are many jobs the aid workers do that most Haitians would have begged to have done for a fraction of the cost. It's also kinda degrading to them as well to have us nurse-maid them

EU is doing good in Haiti. I wish I can help. If there is any way Rescue Organizations in Haiti need a helping hand in technical aid, I would be pleased to participate.

Speak of things you know something about. Its easy to brainlessly replicate Klauses nonsense.

EU´s position in Haiti is quite funny. Act as the strong organisation, not as a crew of bureaucrat officers.
