Hi Jeff. I have just bought 1 of these birds but am having a lot of trouble getting the 3gx working. When i plug power to the unit the status bar blinks green and red. I have a spektrum dx7s and have 2 dsmx satellites attached. Can you please spread any light on my problem?

My maiden and starting point was leon lukes settings.All is perfectly ballanced no vibration.Running castle ice 50 bec set to 5.5 volts to align cyclic servos and 9257 futaba tail.Battery is 2200 35c voltz.Data log shows good power never drops bellow 10 v.IDK needs another update.

Every one seems to be having the same problems.I tried reading threads off rc helifreak to see if any one had fixes but instead every one has same complaints.The only ones happy are those sponsered by align that get there toys for free.

Head speed on a 450 2800.Once I finally got it to feel right I had been flying with low dr for basic scale flight to get the feel.It had back and left drift.I then leveled swash through out travel range and it helped.I still had to add a pinch of trim(not sub trim).I then upgraded to 1.2 then seemed to fly much better with no trim.Then I set up for 3d with more throw then had to start droping elev gains do to elev. oscilating(or even just wind driving things to go wobble wobble).Now drift again.

Futaba!!! Excellent/Best choice. Not as cool sounding as Spektrum, though. Keep up the good job.

How are you liking the 3gx.So far the only thing that seems solid is the tail lol.Every thing else is mad drift left and back.And mad oscilation durring tic tocs.New software update to 1.2 tames things down but still have same drift and oscilation issues.Its fine for a put put but Im not happy with it.

If you look at Alan's video didn't have any drifting issues. Flew it just this weekend at OHB in Florida and seemed to be working good. Not sure of your head speed, but what throttle settings are you using?

What settings are you using in the 3GX software? Beginner, Advanced?

@wade3337 I used the advanced settings used 60% on the Flight Condition Control and thats about it. Other than that just the settings I used in the videos which gives about 12 degrees of cyclic and collective all around.
