War sucks. Doesn't matter the reason for it. No-one wants war. Politicians order us to kill other people that we have never met and have no personal problem with. I think politicians forget that they work for the people. They are just employees of the people of the country. We should be able to fire them or send them to jail more easily. Personal accountability of the president (from all countries) is what is lacking.

@1theforest the people never helped the US and frequently went against things that would protect US soldiers. Ex. after receiving a warning shot continually driving towards a checkpoint. If the Iraqi people had actually helped the US and en mass thrown out and exposed insurgents there would be VERY low civilian casualties. Unfortunately they did not do this and the protection of the US soldier's lives became top priority for brass
