@grazemyanatomy - But - would you eat formaldehyde? And what is the purpose of taking a multivitamin without sufficient antioxidants? The purpose of this test is to show most multivitamins contain little to no antioxidants. If you’re a fan of guacamole dip like we are here in New Mexico, then surely you know the recipe calls for a squirt of fresh lemon juice to keep it from oxidizing (turning brown). You're better off drinking lemon juice every morning as opposed to wasting your cash on Centrum!

So what is your personal story? What got you into Usana?

Do you have any peer reviewed clinical studies on your product? I am taking a product that has 8 peer reviewed studies that is proven to reduce the body's oxidative stress 40-70% in the first 30 days.

@Dangure Why won't you try NUTRILITE?
-
@BellyRebellion I have yet to see an independent unbiased publication to suggest otherwise.

@BellyRebellion What about the fact that you are comparing Apple cells to Human cells? You say "don't trust your body to just any nutritional supplement". Also what about the fact that these "supplements" also have to undergo alimentary canal environments, pH, ionization, and dissolution just to name a few. Hard to compare those conditions to a glass of water.

Keep it up man,,,

I totally disagree!!!
This guy is just one of a loyal member of a nonesense health product out there...
@polloloco3 Thank you for your comment. We understand there is more going on in the body than what is going on in this glass of water and we also understand that apple cells are different than Human cells. We wanted to show that there is a big difference between supplements and we feel this was a great way through a simple test how to show it. Ultimately if you are going to trust your body to a supplement why not one that has been tested over and over to be the best on the market? Thanks!

It's best to source your vitamins from a wide variety of foods. You're better off spending that extra $50-80 a month on eating better food. All this video demonstrates is that USANA is better at preserving an apple than other brands.

@Dangure Thank you for your comment. We could not agree with you more, having access to better foods is the way to go although unfortunately with the current farming practices in use (including pesticides/chemicals and lack of crop rotation) the research we have seen proves that the nutritional value previously maintained is no longer in these 'good' foods. Though we feel that organic foods are getting better we feel to be complete you still need a good multi-vitamin so why not choose the best

The antioxidant in Usana Mega Antioxidant is vitamin C, which is a common preservative known as Ascorbic acid. You may have seen this on labels for juices and other foods. In general, I don't think $120 for a bottle of vitamin C makes sense, do you?

@kooljosh100 Thank you for watching our video, Vitamin C is not the only ingredient in this multi-vitamin and can be found in a more pure form here than in most juices without the added sugar. One bottle of Mega Antioxidant is $40 which can be more than most other multi-vitamins although like everything else you get what you pay for when it comes to protection from oxidated stress present in our daily lives. Do you want to treat your body like a BMW/Lexus or a Yugo?

@userdude999 That doesn't change the fact that this video is deceptive and tries to get you to think they are all the same type of supplement. An antioxidant slows down oxidation which causes rotting and I'm pretty sure that EVERYONE knows how fast an apple will turn brown and start oxidizing if cut/skinned. You can't compare antioxidants to multivitamins. That's like comparing apples to oranges. They''re two completely different things and they serve two completely different purposes.

@xkb360x Thank you for your comment, this is not only USANA's multi-vitamin but also the other brands we selected multi-vitamin's. Regarding the support of oxidated stress - baed upon the contents of each of these vitamins they are all supposed to support oxidated stress or the browning of an apple although there is obviously a superior product being compared to the others.
