One of the friendliest feline breeds, the rag doll cat is super friendly and craves human contact. The rag doll gets its name from its tendency to go limp as a bag of rags when picked up. Similar to a rabbit's fur, rag dolls have soft hair that is very plush.
A common myth of the rag doll's ability to go limp is from the first rag doll mom who got hit by a car and suffered severe nerve damage. Rag doll cats are lovers not fighters!

Man did we ever luck out, we brought home a cat from our local shelter for $50 thinking he was a Siamese. Turns out, he's a ragdoll & the best cat I've ever met! Had him for over a year now and couldn't ask for a more chill & friendlier feline friend!

I miss my cats... One of them died as a kitten and we had to give away the other two. I miss my babies-3 Ragdoll is the best breed of cats hands down!

My first cat ever is a Ragdoll, I'm so glad I've chosen this breed! He's now 6 months old and such a joy to have!
