@damo24now How old are you? Did Tua fight a heavyweight contender on his 4th fight? No. Tua fought 60 amateur and pro fights for 12 years before he fought somebody. THat's boxing for you, newbie. You do not fight a HW contender on your second year. Now you know boxing.

He's one of the best rugby players around. And he mainly focus's on his rugby, to be heavyweight champion in boxing as well. Well that's an achievement!

SBW must be very proud of himself beating-up 43yr old Otara Choirmaster,Grandfather & Sickness Benificiary Mr Liava'a who hasnt tasted victory since 2006 .... Here in Aus SBW got no respect from the boxing Community here . My 19yr old nephew Francis Cox is the 2011 ABU Australian Amateur Super Heavyweight Boxing Champion ( 5ft6 : 119.5kg ) would knock the chin off Mr Williams face quick smart .... NZ Boxing apart from David Tui is crap !

@Matak12 The media coverage is not his fault. If any newbie boxer can get media attention and millions on their first fight, they would take the money and TV revenue. Guarantee you. Other than the media attention , he is just taking his time, fighting 40 bums, which is what every other boxer does, they fight for years against bums.

@187prettyboy yea well I dont get why everyone is going on about Sonny Bill being so great and all this, he is a beginner and doesnt deserve any respect until he faces more tougher competition, he has got to earn it the old fashioned way. Hes only had 4-5 fights and yet hes getting all this coverage and being paid big time, which is pretty unfair for those who have already done far more then him. Boxing is a tough game and despite SBW winning the NZ Title he still has heaps to prove
