Thanks for the guide - really well-done. I find it's easier to use the polar star against the fish-missiles, though - you can just fire without worrying about King hitting something and screwing up your firing rate.

Eh the Polar Star takes two shots I think. Haven't played for a while, so I don't remember.

meh...standing under it is safet than you think,you just forgot to tell the people that you can switch weapon during the lvl 3 blade attack, which allow you to shoot polar star while king's ghost is slashing everywhere.

plus it's much easier than you think to destroy these green missiles, You get plenty of time to shoot them of when monster X is moving and they can't reach you if you're standing directly under him due to their circular movements.

I preferred to take the safer way. Prolly because the save point is miles away and I didn't feel like running through the Gaudi every time. Might have overdone it though.

@blasphemymaster You can't leave the room without talking to king and then taking the blade, at least not in the PSP port.

I killed it other way, with just lvl2 blade.

In 1st one blade just goes through all projectiles, and takes down green "cores" extremely fast - and safe. No hill under me - safe distance, where lade can go throuh all projectiles safely.

In second phase, if you make MX stop over a hill, where you can stand really close to his center... well, I think I don't have to explain this one. Tapping fire like crazy, he was able to shoot max 2 green-circulating-shit-thingie­s per stop x)

I have never used that blade before. i found this boss really tough to kill. I used machine gun and a life pot.
