@TheSonicslushy its in the actresses contrqct. she wasnt going to stay as long as she has but because the sophie sian storyline was more popular than they thought they extended it. its to do with the actress that plays sian. and tbh its coronation street they were never going to have their happily ever after, those concepts dont exist in these soaps
