The problem with socialists is that they don't know how to handle money. All countries that have a socialist government are in financal trouble, like greece.

Here in Canada, our federal government is spending about 6% more each year on transfer payments and government growth when the GNP only grows about 3% per year.

Even a socialist should be able to figure out that continued this ends in a big problem.

We need a real conservative government in Canada and not a pretend one.

Terms like 'Free Trade' & 'Free Markets' are misleading. They only mean free money for the privileged few. The vast majority of us lose freedom & lose money as a result of those policies. Has domestic employment benefitted from outsourcing & deregulation of banks & big business? Related to that question is the misleading naming of our politicians as 'progressives' & 'conservatives'. Propaganda & lies! Most of America's 'leaders' belong to a single party...corporatists!

@chad071981 I'm conservative, but I find myself rooting for the Green Party because I know they won't get any seats, and only serve to take votes away from the Liberals more than anyone.

Also, liberals say they want MMP NOW, but in a possible future, you might be preventing more liberal majorities than you realize.

@819gatineau Please do elabroate how that was propaganda other than stating facts like, yes there are at least 3 to 4 left-of-center parties. And that Harper was more effective at framing issues... what is so propaganda about that? Socialism hasn't killed the nation, it never existed but certain social welfare benefits are the very reason why Canada has in the past ranked top 10 (interestingly before 2006) in all indices from education to health to democracy to human development....
