The first time I saw Fifth and Main was in 1956. I used to walk through Skid Row to go to work. The general size of Skid Row has expanded by many blocks since then. It is an interesting place to see and the people there are mostly very capable and willing to carry on an intelligent conversation. Great video of a place most people will never see.

Drugs and/or alcohol do play a major part in all of this.
