Martin Hoffert does not play politics. He is a scientist and as such approaches the problem of global warming in a solution oriented manner: How do we develop good energy sources for the next century and beyond?
We can no longer have luxury to debate global warming. We must invest in our future by investing in the research needed to find new energy resources.
Odd how the program didn't think that it was worth noting that Ebell is a lawyer and lobbyist , while Hoffert is a scientist and an economist. Not exactly apples to apples as far as 'expertise is concerned'. Also, Ebell previously worked for Big Tobacco, trying to convince the public on behalf of his client that secondhand smoke wasn't dangerous. Essentially, he is a professional bullshit artist

This is a great video - but the conversation needs more attention and more time - this should have been one hour rather than five minutes
