HPI Racing / Hot Bodies have taken delivery of the full-scale (1:1) FUJITSUBO Subaru Impreza STi race car that competed in the Super Taikyu Endurance Race Series in Japan, winning the overall class title in 2005. This turbocharged 4WD racing wears HPI Racing and Hot Bodies sponsor logos, along with Fujitsubo livery and bright yellow and orange paint, making it one of the most recognizable cars in the Super Taikyu series. The car was constructed and campaigned by PROVA Racing Division and driven by Toshihiro Yoshida and Kazuhiro Koizumi for both the 2005 and 2006 race seasons. It will join the HPI Racing Subaru at the HPI Racing USA headquarters. You've seen this car in magazines, on the web, at track days, and a replica of it is available in 1:43 scale from the HPI Die Cast series. Look for appearances and events coming up in 2007 to show off the car! More info:
