Thanks for your comment! I watched your clip before i bought my scanner. Do you have any tip for better reception? Im using the orig antennas:)

@zagorje28 Well the original antenna really is only ok for very local stations. I often use a selfmade 1/4 lambda vertical dipole witch i placed on my window. The dipole is simply made with a BNC jack and 2 calculated cables and RG58 conductor. Very cheap but effective. This dipole works well for the 4 meter band but also works well for the airband. I also use a diamond x30 indoor for ham radio reception. But for 4 meter and airband, the dipole works way better.

i want that :(((
i see you are Radio Amateur, right? so i have question: can i "catch" airline and Air Traffic Controll freq with my radio amateur gear? :D

@prikljucak Hi, it depends on what rig you have. There are rigs with only amateur radio frequency and rigs with a wide frequency range. If you tell me the name of your gear, i may can help.

@RadioHerbert i dont have any gear :(( i only have a regurally FM radio station.. i saw on internet (YouTube) that from FM radio you can turn it to AIRBAND scanner... is it right and posibble?
prikljucak 10 months ago
@prikljucak well, normally not, because airband is in AM modulation from 108MHz - 137MHz but normal radio scanners are pretty cheap today. Search youtube and google for radio scanners and you will find lots of affordable models.
