Google Street View Discovers New Life

Google Street View cars struggle through streets of Delhi, with random undulating roads, messy traffic, honking and well, poorly resolved streets. I captured this after an hour long wait for the vehicle to emerge from another road in congestion. And guess what, amongst the cities of India Delhi has some of the best roads. Imagine how expensive it would be for Google to undertake this project for a country like ours!

It's a hired vehicle for Google. You won't see the special cars of Mountain View in India because the laws of homologation are worse than taking a car to the moon.

The word civilized doesn't mean high posh technically advanced things. There are a lot of things that count under what is called civilized and uncivilized. Do you call smoking, alcohol drinking, sexual behaviour, and porn civilized? If yes, then your perception of a civilization or civilized is mistaken. There sure are infrastructure problems that exist in India but it taken time for infrastructure to mature/advance.

Guys, you shouldn't say India's a mess just because of a single video like this. I've seen parts of Detroit far worse than this. Detroit is in a first world country with so many slums and hygiene problems, so naturally, India is bound to have these too. It takes time for a city to build up and fix its problems. It will take another decade or so for the infrastructure to mature.

Are you sure that it was a GOOGLE car? I think they looks different...
