1. Go to youtube and create an account.

2. Go to www.callofduty.com/blackops and create an account.

3. Sign in to youtube and the call of duty black ops website.

4. Go to www.callofduty.com/theater.

5. Click the link now button and choose XBOX 360 or Playstation Network (which ever 1 u use)

6. Log in using the email and password you use for youe xbox live or psn account.

7. Then on the right side of the page you can link your youtube account.

8. Click link and click Allow Access

9. In Call of Duty: Black Ops, open MULTIPLAYER then XBOX LIVE / PSN then THEATER.

10. Open MY RECENT GAMES to access files of your in-game matches.

11. Select the film from which you would like to record a video clip segement or capture a screenshot and choose SELECT FOR PLAYBACK

12.Find a segment you would like to capture, and select the RECORD option.

13. Once you have reached the end of your segment, select RECORD again to stop. NOTE: Segments can be no longer than 30 seconds.

14. Select NAME SEGMENT then UPLOAD CLIP, then create the TITLE, DESCRIPTION, and TAG for the video clip

15. Select a slot in MY FILE SHARE to save the video clip.

16. Go to MY FILE SHARE and select the video clip.

17. Choose the SELECT FOR PLAYBACK option. That video clip will now be available to render.

18.From the Call of Duty: Black Ops THEATER, select RENDER CLIP.


19. After the video clip plays through, it will be uploaded to MY THEATER.

20. Watch the video clip in My Theater or on YouTube.

  • when I'm done recording in Theater and downloaded from File share, I don't get the render button. and I can't access my Theater library on callofduty . com, please help

  • @hermiethehero the reason you cant render is because the clip is probably more than 30 seconds.

  • @Conorb610 nope, 25 seconds, but it says I need a harddrive, but I've done it before when the game was new and I didn't have a harddrive, still don't...

  • it doesnt work i already had an account and it says i have no file share only a pic :s

  • @R0CHEY97 you have to render the videos first before they get uploaded to the internet.

  • "My Theater" doesnt open for me, just gives me a blank white screen?

  • hey dude i rendered it but it not comes to my theater nor to my youtube account does it need a time or it have to upload it promptly . [its all right (26 seconds video , i have an account , i have linked youtube)]

  • So I just followed all of your directions, but when I got to 'my theater' on the black ops website, it says "you have not uploaded any videos" but my fileshare on Xbox live is full!? So, my fileshare is full but the website says that I haven't uploaded any videos yet; this is very frustrating so please help?

  • @Conorb610 I just Rendered a clip and on the website Idk? how to check for the video and it doesnt even appear on my Youtube accnt even though i linked it to my Gamertag account?
