The Remus Lupins - "Seven Potters" from the album Nevermind the Furthermore.

Lyrics:
We cut through the sky like
Gryffindor's sword through a snake
Riding high on our brooms,
oh, they can't keep pace
Go, go, go, go!

Death Eaters just behind.
Green light illuminates the sky
It's all we can do
to dodge the curses flying by
Go, go, go, go!

With Seven Potters
there's a million ways we will make it home tonight
oh, tonight we must fly

We're split apart high above the English countryside
We must get Harry to safety now
We must turn this war's tide
Go, go, go, go!
An errant spell turns a Weasley twin into a saint
a holey man, if we can outrun our fate.
If we can go, go, go, go!

With seven Potters
there's a million ways we will make it home tonight
oh, tonight we must fly

And so Hagrid falls
I'd rather tear my heart out
than leave him behind
I spin 'round like a wand
and race back towards these troubled times.
Mad-Eye ain't coming home
another casualty of this legendary war
Will someone please tell me
what it is we are fighting for?
We're fighting for love, love, love, love!

With seven Potters
there's a million ways we can make it home tonight
oh, tonight we shall fight!

  • @MonayIsMe I'm a massive Harry Potter fan. My brain is full of facts and trivia that would probably win me first place in an HP pub quiz, but would be completely useless in my day-to-day life. However, I do not worship sorcery. Because SORCERY ISN'T REAL. Anyway, magic is only 10% of the HP books. I can't speak for everyone here, but to me HP is about love, hope, death, friendship and compassion. It teaches you to be brave and to stand up for what you believe in. What isn't Christian about that?

  • I have never watched a video of yours before but I heard people were trashing you? Yeah, youtubers are supposed to support each other so you go bro! Keep up the great job :) I'm so glad you made front page and I hope you continue to make awesome videos. You have definitely won over a new subscriber.

  • @VickiLovesDoctorWho THANK YOU! I feel the same way. I often get shot down by other Christians for liking Harry Potter because it has magic in it; meanwhile, many of the ones who criticize me are busy obsessing over Twilight, which is about VAMPIRES. I think, as long as you don't idolize or worship an idea or series, and as long as it doesn't inspire you to do sinful things, it's not un-Christian to like it. But sorcery is real; and that's what Christians have to be careful not to meddle in.

  • @flyingpuppy13 I know how you feel. I saw Alex Carpenter perform about a year ago, and now the Remus Lupins don't even exist. But the best we can do is be glad that wrock exists and we had a chance to listen in the first place.

  • @VickiLovesDoctorWho I knew it wasn't real, but still waited for my letter when I was 11. Then again, I was 10. 10 year olds are supposed to think wacky things like that.

  • @VickiLovesDoctorWho Well said, my friend. ^_^

  • @VickiLovesDoctorWho

Woah, "Sorcery isn't real" and you call yourself a Harry Potter fan? I scoff at thee. Sorcery is as real as breathing.

  • Fantastic. (:

  • I started listening to them about a month ago... I'm sad cause I fell I've missed everything

  • I've always loved this video. Watching it now makes me miss everyone. Still a really great video three years later. Also still a fantastic song, but that surprises no one. =)

  • This video was executed beautifully.

  • @MonayIsMe He's making music inspired by Harry Potter because he finds enjoyment and fun in it. He's paying homage to a great series. Where are you getting him trying to become a sorcerer from?

And besides, you contradicted yourself. By claiming that the plot of Harry Potter is "awesome," that means you have a bit of enthusiasm about it. So this sorcery that you are ranting about is something that you yourself enjoyed when reading or watching Harry Potter. And are you trying to recreate it? No.
