I thought quality was crap actually; the ones I've put up since from Wolverhampton are way better. I ran the Southend ones through the deshaker thing in virtualdub to make them a bit better.
Camera is a Sanyo VPC-HD1000; there's been a HD1010 and HD2000 since though which are higher spec versions of the same basic design. You could probably get a 2nd hand HD1000 cheaper as a result now.
I tend to record 4 or 5 songs usually in the hopes of getting 2 good ones to put on here...
