I would imagine that she may have convinced herself that she wasn't in love, considering the fact that she was still mourning Souichiro and Godai's unreliable and morally weak nature.

Kyoko says in the film when he realized in love with Yusaku, but not since. In the manga there are a lot of clues that seem to lead early in their history.

thing about that picture is that she had got it early in the series... which means she was in love with godai all that time, she should have said something so then there would have been less drama you know with mitaka, and kozue and yagami ect...
