with this part at the end wth the window poping up does it repeaty come up or will it disapear and everyhting will go good after this cause im going to o same thing wiht my computer and i really need to know if i should or not and if it will or wnt hurt my computer more then its already in .

If the hardware on the HP or Compaq computer has significantly changed then you will most likely receive a system configuration error (code purple) message. You can avoid the system configuration error message post system recovery but you will most likely still need to perform a Microsoft Windows activation. I used the Windows XP Recovery Console. However, you can also use a Windows Vista Installation DVD, Linux Live CD, Mac OS X,... to read/write to the NTFS partition. Perform a web search for "novelimage" and "code purple." Let me know if you have additional questions.

sry i meant system recovery is not my option

is compaq recovery same as compaq system recovery ??? and my computer just get slam by a trojan some my files are damage and is a system file is all scartterd in my c drive should i burn a cd of compaq recovery or use the compaq application recovery. ( compaq recovery is not my option cuz i already got use before and give me purple error code and nid call repairman it is expensive.
