this is my interpretation of Sarah Palin, thank you :)

Sarah Palin for VP?
Is she experienced?
What makes a good VP?
Will she be able to address the current economy, global warming and alternative fuels? What do you think? Is she qualified?

And actually I would tend to agree, because I think if it doesnt harm ANYONE else in ANY way, you should be free to do it. But thats the structure our government is set up with and thats what we MUST work with. Furthermore, even though gay marriage isnt formally recognized, most states allow civil unions, which are the EXACT same thing as marriage and gives them the same rights.

  • @cameltoejoe69 : okay but why should it be uptoo ANYONE else but those 2 people, it seems very unfair and hypocritical to me, it shouldn't be anyones business and it shouldn't be the choice of any kind of majority.

  • @darkpassenger09

The states get to choose how marriage is defined for each state. Massachusetts wants to recognize it. Fine. Thats their right under the constitution. But so is it the right of Texas to define marriage as between man and woman.

  • @darkpassenger09

She's not even come out and said "im against gay marriage" all she has said is that she supports traditional marriage and the state's right to decide whether they allow it or not. Whether people like it or not, that is the RIGHT outcome under our constitution. ALL powers NOT granted to the federal government explicitly in the constitution are reserved for the state. The federal government doesn't have authority under the constitution to regulate marriage.

  • @cameltoejoe69 : unless its same sex marraige. Not allowing that, isn't that a breach of freedom? just because a woman and a woman or man and a man want to be married why should that be uptoo anyone else but those 2 people?

  • @darkpassenger09

Here's something to keep in mind, whether it be gun bans, universal healthcare, or "green energy" regulations-

Whenever a government takes away your freedom of choice, what they are really saying is "we dont TRUST YOU to make the right choice, so we have to take that choice out of YOUR hands." That makes you less free. That TRUELY makes you a peasant/peon. And its that mentality that Sarah Palin and others like her fight against.
