Congressman Devin Nunes testifies before the House Natural Resources Committee. As part of his testimony, Mr. Nunes brought a bowl of live smelt to the committee. They were alive when he submitted them for the record.

I'm shocked to see the effect this man-made drought has had-i work in Ag, i was in the area recently, and in the last two years, it's gone from rich farmland that feeds the nation to empty dust-bowls. Environmentalism run amuck! C'mon congress...lets get it back on track here...

my heart saddens after watching this. Mostly for the american people. Something that was put into place to do such good has turn so very bad. since when do we place human life so low as to allow this? a fish which can be persurved and re-cultivated later is placed on such a high standards we let our brothers and sisters die and agree to pay more for the very food we eat. allowing it to come from countries where it will surly bring in disease and pests. think people think!
