Taking my 10 year old tomorrow for his first time with his new 20 gauge,. These are excellent tips for instant success. I'll have him watch these and we'll use many of these cues. I wonder if this first time student is for real. If he is then the instruction is top notch breaking the first one like that at each position.
Miserable looking skeet range.

@TheFender26 its only a shotgun it wont reach the traffic

Yeh he looks like a great instructor to learn off. Good advice i rekon.

Can any one tell me why they are firing towards traffic and those outer buildings?

Bayer57: Having a good coach or teacher is very important to becoming better at anything. Even professional golfers like Tiger Woods has a coach that helps him keep his game sharp. I'm not saying that practicing isn't important, and spending a lot of time behind the trigger isn't worthwhile, but it's ignorant to say that you can become the best by just "burning powder".
Remember...practice doesn't make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect.

@LittleMaggot50 He's a good teacher but i would not personlly have lessons. Keep on doing what your doing, learning for your self is the best experiance.

@bayer57, I couldn't disagree with you more. I began shooting trap, but did it infrequently as I found it rather boring. Still, I was able to hit about 20 to 22 targets of each 25. Then I took a lesson from an expert trap shooter. I'm now able to hit 24 or 25 each time. About three months ago, I discovered sporting clays and avidly shoot several times a week. Lessons from a pro are the only way to consistent improvement. Otherwise, you keep practicing your mistakes.
I hate that man. How can he learn that fast. He shoots 3 times and hit 3 times. I practice and i get better slowly. But he gets it right away. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him.
