Sounds like a cover band, what a pity, clearly they miss DC Cooper
-
Agreed...I'm just bitter that they kicked DC Cooper out and never found an equally talented replacement in 15 years. Let's hope that reunion tour doesn't get canceled.

@08Revelator - don't judge a singer by one live song, everyone has a down gig now and again. Listen to some of his other work outside Royal Hunt, I would recommend some Ring of Fire live in Japan. Being basically his band he really gets to work out his exceptional vocal talent.

Wow what a proclaimation! So with such an amazing gift, why does he sound like he has no breath or power in the song, and I can't even hear it in most of the song. Sounds very mediocor for such a proclaimation.
-
No he does not. His range is not wide enough. That's why its in a lower key. Think about it. Is the drummer, keys, guitars effected by lowering the key?..lol NO.
But don't fret. There is only one DC Cooper, never to be outdone.
If your in Europe the ruinion is booked. DC returns.

I agree, the song was set at a low range and does not showcase Mark's vocal range. Mark has one of the most powerful voices out there and I would choose him over any of the other RH vocalist as well as any vocalist ou there. When a band members says you sing the song the way I want it sung it kind of limits your capabilities and your version of a song.

Exactly, one of the very few who actually can hit pretty much any note without falsetto.

extraño a DC Cooper y a Jacob Kjaer!!! le daban el toque preciso...royal hunt is not the same!!!

ridiculous singer :(

LOL... John West's live version of this song makes Mark sound like a karaoke singer.

The problem is not Mark, the issue is the band lowered the tune, so it sounds different. And i don't understand why the heck they did so, as Mark Boals has enough range to hit all the notes.
