Pesto, pasta and shrimp

6 garlic cloves

½ cup toasted pine nuts

½ tablespoon sea salt

1 tablespoon ground black pepper

4 cups basil leaves

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup extra virgin olive oil

1 pound medium-sized shrimp

¼ stick of butter

Linguine pasta

For the pesto

In a blender or food processor, add garlic, pine nuts, salt and pepper. Blend until everything is chopped up nicely. Add basil leaves and begin processing slowly. You might have to push some of the leaves down inside the mixture. The, slowly add olive oil while blending. Once olive oil has been incorporated, add Parmesan cheese and mix until smooth.

For the shrimp and pasta

Cook linguine until al dente in large pot of boiling, salted water.

Meanwhile, peel and devein shrimp. Saute in hot skillet with ¼ stick of butter and cook until done. Add the cooked linguine pasta and toss with pesto. Serve hot.

  • I watch this everytime I eat packed noodles

  • you must be kidding with that pasta,it looks like some wires,man put the pasta from the water DIRECTLY.I hope it tastes good but sorry looks bad the pasta shpuld stay INDIVIDUAL.
