Now is the time for us "white" people AND "black" people to wake up. Now is the time to unite in love. The end is near. I hurt and cry that the colored people were treated as so.  Research Hebrew Israelites and we just may have some better understanding of how this slavery truly came about. I am so sorry that this happened and I am so sorry that we still see a division between us all. It has to end.

This was a really great video. i hate people who think slavery wasn't that bad. They should try being slaves. The saddest part is that slavery still exists.

Yes, slavery still exists. Algerian anthropologist Malek Chebel recently published "L'esclavage dans les pays musulmans" ("Slavery in Muslim countries"). The book tells mostly about history, including European Christians or black Africans captured and eslaved by Arabs. It also reveals that, for example Mauritania possesses 200,000 slaves. Same in some other Arab countries.

So what you are saying is that ALL of them are lazy?? No exceptions?? And your ancestors are ALL hard working. Do you have any idea how ridiculous you sound. I doubt you do. That is stereotyping.
