A sample of my re-created 3D attraction from an old extinct ride from Disneyland's Tomorrowland that Star Tours now resides. This recreation took over two years build on my old PC. Find more info about this classic attraction on my website at: Atommobiles.com

  • I still have to buy this! I thought I heard on Extinct Attractions or the DPN that the great Tony Baxter had seen your DVD and congatulated you on it. That's incredible.

  • Yes. Tony and his friends loved it. He used to work in the attraction long ago and knows the ride well. I have talked with him many times and is a really nice guy and very personable.

  • Yes he did. I was flattered.

  • Oh dude, where's the giant eye????

Where do I find those "tons of videos" you referenced???

  • Tons of videos? This is just a trailer of the DVD that has "the eye" and everything. Go to the site for details. (Link in description)

  • Oh I see it now in the comments. We were talking about a different ride at Disney World called Fantastic!

  • Nothing can ever replace the sights or even the Scents of the ride. I do miss the smell of the gear oil and grease. Lmao! But this is as close to the sights as I can ever get again, so......

  • wow. I went on this ride in 84 or 85 when I was a kid...it was my favorite! I made my parents ride it about 10 times...good thing too because it was GONE the next time we went! :(

  • I bought this and am always amazed at the level of detail. I wish you would do other rides with the same thought to the ride.

  • nicely done!

  • fabuloys!

  • The Narrator for this ride is the same guy who does the voice for the GhostHost in HauntedM at Disneyland and Disneyworld!

  • I really like the narrator. He reminds me alot of Orson Welles.

  • Thought you might like to know: I featured this video of yours in my article, "Retroland: Disneyland Through the Ages - Part 1" (I'd link if YouTube allowed).

I'm a big fan of your virtual ride-thru DVD. I bought it years ago when it first came out, and have treasured it ever since. In my article, I point people to your website and let them know the full-length version is available for purchase.

    Thanks!

  • i remember the giant eye at the end.....the new disneyland is like the new las vegas....they both STINK....

  • Nice job. Looks almost identical to the actual ride. I thought that was one of the coolest rides in the park when I was there at the tender age of 13. Wish I could go back and time and see the old park as it was "back in the day". Such good times...

  • @chumbersdee Sounds like it was a cool ride. At least star tours is getting a makeover lol.

  • @sonic619760 , It was a ride that you first entered thru a giant microscope and it was seem as if you were getting smaller. First you'd see huge snowflakes, then molecules (which everyone called the Mickey Mouse heads), and finally a huge atom. then you'd return to normal. Near the end you'd see a big eyeball looking down at you, like we were the specimen. It was my favorite ride of alltime at Disneyland. I'll always have a grudge against Star Tours, just for the reason that it took it's place.
