@sheepwolf2004 That's because Alan Oppenheimer voices that Bolmangani. I think that's how you spell it.

@smokinbarrel I though Mangani was also the name of a Gorilla Tribe like the Bulgani. I may be wrong on that.

@JoeyPencils they talk on gorilas language..but producers translated for you and me to understand :)..i read once that tarzan scream is mix of all animal voices thats why they respond :)..thats what i read

Tarzan & the "talking gorillas" use a primitive language adapted from the Edgar Rice Burroughs Tarzan novels called "Mangani". The ape that raised Tarzan taught him this language. That's why you hear Tarzan shouting things like "Unk" = "Stop".

I loved this as a kid. It was my favourite because the animation was so much better than the average cartoon and Tarzan was actually cool. I found a website that sells the box set of all the episodes. Gonna buy it soon.
