  • The ability to own a firearm privately must be recognized and respected by all states.

  • I like the idea of an armed citizenry...The criminals aren't concerning themselves with following laws, only the gun owners are.

  • Which is it, Schumer? States or Feds? If he opposes this measure because of states' rights, then he SHOULD oppose any federal-level restrictions.

    Something tells me he won't...

  • There are a lot of collectors out there. And I must clear up th number of weapons going to Mexico, BATFE traces for less than 10% originated from the US, and that include the Colt M-16's that the US government sells them, most of the weapons can (if the Mexican government would co-operate which they dont) probably be traced back to their military or other outside sources (Norinco AK-47's).

  • I don't have many rules actually regarding guns regulation but there is one I was thinking for a while and I think it makes sense: limit the number of guns anyone can own to 100. It is a made up number of course, but I think if you have 100 guns, it should be enough to defend yourself and hunt. If you are buying more, it is probably for selling them (ex: Mexico) or for gang purpose...

  • Well see that is your opinion, I dont happen to agree but lets move on, what measures do you support? And if you feel comfortable with stating (you don't have to if you don't want to) whether you would be of a conservative or liberal viewpoint?

  • agreed ipod :)

  • They are lunatics. If they were not, they would not say crazy stuff about a country in Europe/Canada just because I am against guns. They will not ask me to leave the country and consider me not a citizen. That's crazy. That's being a lunatic. it is more than just voicing your opinion strongly when you have no fact but do only insults. Therefore, I am 100% stand that people like standforamerica are bunch of lunatics who get easily anger and should never own a gun.

  • I hope he get helped by the FBI or something. This is not acceptable to received death threats.

But I doubt a gun will save him. If these people really want him dead, they will suprise him/snipe him and there is nothing he can do. It is not like the bad guys will come and introduce himself like in a movie and shoot him after everyone draw their gun. It will come as a total surprise, and he will not have time to even draw his gun imo... well if I was the bad guy that's how I will do it.

  • I am going to respond to this one, there is somebody I know he lives in California and has suffered multiple death threats, he applied to carry a concealed firearm in fear of his life, he was denied because the sheriff dosent want people to carry weapons

  • One of things that is great about this country people have the freedom to voice their opinions, 1st amendment right, and the 2nd makes sure the government cant go crazy on the first.
