  • Can anybody tell me who plays the music in this video?

  • It is Amadou & Mariam "Artistiya" you can find it on the BBC awards for music 2006 CD.

  • My love is from Mali and hasn't been there since he was 4 or 5 years old, he's going this summer for a month and is excited but unfortunately can't join him and his family though they have invited me to come. The video gives me a glimpse of what he always talks to me about. Thanks!

  • thanks for your message, reading your post made me happy.

  • This is the greatest song ever! Rhythm, Joy and Energy!

  • Never been colonised??!! What about the French!?

  • Real good. 5*

  • Yeah, safe for whities. We´ve just been there. But it´ll get tough if you don´t speak french!

  • what a wonderful place, wonderful people maybe colonized but never conquered, i love black people, specially women of course.... one question, is this a safe place to be for a fucking whitie man?

  • Beautiful Black people...free, happy and never colonized.

  • A store owner in my area back in Nigeria is from Mali. He built a harp for me cause I always ask about Malian music and he told me about all the instruments they play. They are similar to the ones we play in Nigeria also. I love beating that Djemba drum every time I visit his shop.
