No problem. Thanks for the info too. You saw the Image Union airing? Awesome! It started as a short piece on IFC/bravo then did a longer version for wttw... It was on netflix (talk about jagoffs) but they let the copies run out, but it's on amazon and ebay. I did write a great script about the outfit but these jagoffs in hollyywood wanna keep making there trash! i can send you a copy no problem.

I get it!! I assure you, I know chicago (altho I'm not a southside guy) and I know many of these guys I've mentioned personally which is how I was able to do the film. The whole reason I did it is cause it's always about NY. I do believe Pileggi did his homework tho. btw, ever heard of "Dick Cain"? we can pm if ya want...

@jfa42 Hey there - My wife saw my interest in this video and subject (my father was friends with many players "years ago" -) She ordered me this DVD as a surprise birthday gift - it was really great. Nice job on making it different and more personal. My only complaint is that it wasn't longer because it was so good. Keep up the good work and I'd like to see you do another one of these on the rest of the Chicago outfit.

Good job - So many people know nothing about Chicago Outfit because of all the attention to NY and Jersey. That's due to Hollywood and the fact that Chicago Italians are often lower key and less flashy than the east coast Italians. There are still some embarrassing guidos but nothing like Jersey/NY. You could live next door to a capo for 20 years and never know it in Chicago. So fitting that in the movie, Chicago is never mentioned - it's just "back home".
