  • Rebecca, what an extraordinary tribute to John......his life and his music!!! What a beautiful use of sound, photos and videos that allow us to keep John alive in our hearts. Though, having seen most of the photos and videos before, you have fit all of them together so well and so honestly. Thank you so very much.....May John's Spirit continue to soar on the wings of eagles.

  • Thank you so much for your compliments, Dave. =) I really appreciate what you have said, and I'm glad to know that you, and so many others, have found my tribute to be a good one! Namaste~

  • I have just sat and watched part 1,2,3 & 4 and enjoyed every moment. You brought back some wonderful memories of a man I was a fan of as a child, I cried, I smiled and felt happy about the influence he had on my life. Thankyou for keeping him alive in our memories, you did a beautiful job. Nice aussie, Australia.

  • Thank you! =) I have posted a few more John Denver videos in case you'd like to see those as well.

  • Rebecca,

Thank you so much for compiling this video tribute to John. The footage that touched me most was John playing golf on the day he died. I miss the man, but I suppose God needed him more than we did.

Isn't it amazing how once you've been affected by John's music, it's an undeniable part of you. Times emerge when I don't listen to his music for a while, and then a video like this comes along, which reminds me of his talent and good heart.

    Thank You and God Bless,

    Kayla

  • Thank you Rebecca...

Of all the concerts I remember most the one in Chicago. He came onto the stage alone, his hair blowing in the wind. "I have been going through some difficult times in my personal life lately," he said, "and when things were darkest I thought about you, all of you for whom I wrote my music...and when I thought of you I wrote this song..." And, standing alone he began to sing "Perhaps Love" and, with tears streaming down my cheeks, I got the essence of John Denvwe.

  • How old is the recording of "Sunshine On My Shoulders"?

  • It has been over 14 years since Johns transition and I still miss him. His music will leave on in my heart forever.

Thanks Rebecca - really, really enjoyed this tribute! <3 LovePeace

  • Wow! I've loved John since I was 15, 30 years ago & my hearts hurting watching this, but I would not have missed his ride, not for the world. Thank you! Xxx

  • We loved him, pure & simple. We miss him. What a gift you were. No words can bring him back. Most of all, the man had a family. Their heart hurts @ the most un-spoken times. I'm sorry, a sunset, an event, trip to the grocery store, airport. ANYTHING. Zack, you & your Dad fishing. Here's a band-aid. My prayers to each of you.

  • this is a wonderful tribute to an incredible man. We will truly miss John and is incredible ability to touch our hearts and souls. I was privilaged to see him in concert in Santa Ynez california a few years back. the concert was on the grounds of the mssion with the mountains in the background. Could not have been more perfect. years later, i married a man from Denver. Last year he took me to the mountains, where i was able to see the beauty from which Jonh drew his inspiration. thank you

  • This videos should have more views, much more. I would be so happy if you would help me. Help me sharing a little history.
