The story goes, one January day in 2011, I went out by myself and made about 5 casts before I stuck a big rainbow on the Truckee, which would have made it a great day, but the crazy part was that on my VERY NEXT cast I stuck another nice bow...in the dead of winter. The color on both fish was amazing and they looked like they hadn't missed any meals, the first hook jaw was especially thick. I had to break ice off my guides about every 3 casts, it was so cold! I forgot to press record on the second fish so all you see is him in the net and then the release. Hope you enjoy.

  • A small aluminum bracket with two opposing 90 degree angles and a rubber end on it, I bit the bracket and the camer is front of my face so I can see the LCD screen. Glad you enjoyed.

  • Didn't see slits under their gills plates, but the defintiely could have some LCT in them, especially the first one.
