@unusualmusician This song is actually great for showcasing to children different musical aspects of said violin, using staccato, legato, staccato chords, sustained chords, as well as the slides near the end. The words were chosen because they are simple, silly and relevant to children and they highlight each musical aspect at the time. This song really reveals that you can make a song about anything, anytime, anywhere.

I didn't even think about that, but that totally makes sense. Thanks for the comment!

Are you serious? It's 1/4 of George Washington's head. This makes absolutely no sense, it's like they saw a bunch of objects and repeated their name with rhythm. I know it's for kids but good god, they aren't brain-dead.

They Might Be Giants may have come up with a new album for kids, but everyone loves the album, not just children. These guys are absolutely FANTASTIC. The best, most dandy musicians to ever grace this planet with their presence. Rock on, TMBG. Love you guys.

We were shown this by our English teacher to learn about theme. This, of course, had no theme. xD Our whole grade has been singing it non-stop the past month!

    There was

He was conducting an experiment to test the reaction audio can cause a stable, solid object to suddenly fall out of a chair.

I performed this same experiment on myself, though it seemed to last to only 00:44.
