This is a completely raw clip from today. When dulce first arrived she was completely petrified of being approached, let alone touched. Since her arrival we've been working on just gaining her trust and trying to get her to let us touch her(with the help of carrots, apples, grain, etc :P). Every day she's gotten more comfortable and today was her best day by far :) This is just one of the many clips from today, but it's definitely my favorite. You can see that she lets me rub her neck - the first time she's ever allowed it :D Up until today she would completely take off if you even approached her from the side or moved like you wanted to touch her side. So although rubbing her neck for a second isn't exactly epic, it's a big deal for dulce :) I'm so proud of the trust she's built in the little more than a week that we've had her. Btw, please ignore 1.)The shakey camera part - my sister was trying to be funny hahah, 2.)How much of an idiot i look like - can you tell i was stoked to be making progress?!
@HondaThoru hah thanks for the advice but like i said i'm really not on any kind of timeline with her so there's no room for me to be disappointed and give up on her hahah. i mean i obviously have some goals set for her, but she gets to decide when she's ready to meet them :)

That's super! You guys have lots going for you. Nice weather! Take advantage of it! I sure am with Dusty. Everyday she is having her front hooves cleaned - and having her back legs worked with. I am sure soon she will be right where Dusty is!
