I collected all this old stuff as a huge Quo fan as a teen.
I always figured them riding on a cattle trucking slow train, playing their guitars through the hot great plains.

I Think that because this has originally been recorded on cassette tape it has been transferred on to disc slightly too fast. It's in C# here, but it's supposed to be a semi tone lower - C. So it would be great if someone had the proper equipment to fix this problem. Anyway still great to hear a very rare live version of this song. I do have the full set on CD, but it's all too fast. My favourite era for Status Quo.

much better than the later stuff - more riff based , inventive and varied than the repetitive mid tempo chuga - chuga rhythm stuff .
Must be the only band that got steadily worse with a few exceptions and turned into parodies of themselves .
For some reason , Led Zep's Jimmy Page thought they were a joke .

Well lets just compare the two 1979 albums by Quo and Zep.
Whatever you want is one hundred times better than In Through The Out Door.

Also although Physical Graffiti knocked On The Level off the NO1 spot it, Quo were there fro two weeks whilst zep only 1
