I filmed this at the Tallest Man on Earth Concert at Western Washington University April 23, 2011. I was obviously more interested in watching him with my own eyes than focusing my camera so it's a little blurry but his performances are too good to keep to myself, enjoy =)

  • it's very good.

But a bit too much Bob DYlan pumped..

    But good!

  • @Arthbox I agree that he relates strongly to Bob Dylan, but I respect that that similarity is because not only do their voices sound similar, but he is actually coming up with unique metaphors and analogies in his songs. So many folk artists sound so good these days but lack the true uniqueness and individuality that these two artists seem to have captured, and in Bob Dylan's case, mastered.

  • ahh thanks for uploading this. beautiful. haunting. love him. looks like a pretty special venue, i bet it was incredible to be so close to him.

  • @ilovethepeppers Yes it was a really great show, he talked to the audience a lot but he didn't necessarily interact with individual people too often and yet it was still probably the most personable show I've ever been to because it's like you're on the same level as him and you get to see that he is just a man.... just a very skilled, creative, and musically talented man.

  • @cmwells55 well put

  • @Yelbygrace and also, its never a bad thing to strongly relate to the man himself. the man is a genius, and if people are trying to imitate that genius, more power to them, of course they're not going to master it, but failing to imitate someone awesome often leads to people finding their own sound.
