Rangel and five other Democratic members of the House enjoyed a trip to the Caribbean sponsored in part by Citigroup in Nov after Congress had approved the $700 bailout for financial firms (including Citigroup).
Corporate sponsorship of such an event was banned by House rules adopted on March 1, 2007, in response to the (lobbyist Jack) Abramoff scandal
Joining Rangel on that trip were Payne of NJ, Jackson-Lee of TX, Kilpatrick of MI, Thompson of MS.
Hope this kind of CHANGE goes away!

Rangel has been pilfering the community for years.

He not only writes tax code but also oversees the budget, now admits his own tax records are so fucked, he's had to bring in a forensic accountant to find out what he owes on unreported income on rental property. Then there is the ethical lapses in combining three condos into one, below-market apartment. Or explaining just how another Dominican condo was financed.
And he's got some balls talking about Bush. RESIGN ASSHOLE!
