If you're on a test drive, you want to hear the engine, don't turn the music up

Horrible interior and hard-to-access battery. But it still has a nice ride and returns somewhat decent fuel economy.

EWW it has ugly rims

my 97 is solid ive owned it for almost five years and have driven the piss out of it nearly everyday. Neglecting oil changes especially and off roading it for fun. It only cost me $1000 and its over 400,000 miles now and no repairs just brake pads, oil changes and tires.

is the e-brake foot-operated?

My school has one of these for the drivers ed courses. Has a brake on the passenger side for the instructor :P
Also it has 300,000 miles! Not sure which engine it had, but it did not have a tach.

hey Kyle, nice video! You should post the mpg you get on your test drives, it would be really useful. Thanks

The centre seat actually looks usable. The current Impala has an enormous centre stack.
The tach was optional on base Luminas, and standard on LS models (like this one). LS models also had grey lower mouldings (as seen here). This car is cool because it has the less powerfull, but more reliable 3100 as opposed to the 3400. I love this vid since I drive a 95 Lumina. These cars are so comfy and easy to drive (see the way Kyle moves the steering wheel!). You can drive it with your pinky!
