Well Peter O'Toole is a legend so its not like they put a no one up there. It may be due to sexism, but lets not forget that the top billing is generally reserved for the most markitable actor, Katherine was already a veteran and a bit old, while Peter O'Toole was at the heart of his career, he did Lawrence Of Arabia just 6-7 years before this.

Great movie about real life Middle Ages. Most relations between king Henry II, queen Eleanor, Richard I, Geoffrey, John I and Phillip II are true. There was a Plantagenet family reunion in 1182 in Caen in Normandy.
